This is an area I am immensely passionate about. During my travels as an industry educator, I have seen too many stylists struggle with the lack of knowledge on the classic foundation hair-cutting skills that are based on. If you are new to the industry, chances are that the classic haircutting disciplines may not have been taught in great depth, if at all. For seasoned stylists/barbers, this is a great course to refresh and resharpen your skills. What: A 2-day boot camp style haircutting workshop designed to RESET our fundamental haircutting skills by revisiting the classic "LINE" shapes. We will focus on the head shape's form and function—sections for success. Hair-chi is the practice of positive posture. Scissor ergonomics for comfort and ease. The disciplines and actions in creating the perfect classic shapes. "Learn the rules like a pro so that we can break them like an artist", Pablo Picasso Who's it for? RESET is for every hairstylist/barber, regardless of experience, seeking to refresh their haircutting skills. I guarantee you will get so much out of this class by revisiting the classic timeless techniques to set you up for the haircuts of today and the future. Where: Take a weekend break and come to my location in Philadelphia, lots of great restaurants, shopping and more or in the comfort of your Salon. Investment is per person per class, and the class is 16 hours for 2 days.
